South Plastic Industry manufactures disposable sushi trays and clear anti-fog lids in two series: PS with Japanese patterns and printed finishes, and mono-material rPET with verified recycled content.
Both are thermoformed in our own facility in Taiwan under BRCGS Packaging Grade A and HACCP certification, with custom sizes tooled in-house.
We’ve been thermoforming food packaging since 1983 and supplying Japanese retail for more than 15 years, which is where this range was developed. The same molds now run for supermarkets, convenience store chains, foodservice companies and wholesalers across North America, Europe and Asia.
Sheet extrusion and thermoforming both happen in our own facility, so wall thickness, clarity and lid fit stay under our control.

Every base has a matching clear lid, ordered as a separate part number. The PS series runs from 5 oz (148 cc) to 72 oz (2129 cc), covering single-serve nigiri packs, six to eight piece sets and combo platters for catering.
The rPET series covers the single-serve and mid-size formats. Full part numbers, capacities and materials are in the grid below.
Volume alone won’t tell you whether a tray fits. Two of our 8 oz bases have different footprints, so one may drop into a fixed shelf pitch or an existing packing or labeling line where the other won’t.

The PS series is built for shelf presentation. Sleek black finishes, vibrant prints and Japanese-inspired designs are all available, with customized kamon on request. Trays are durable with a minimized stacking design, and pair with clear OPS lids that showcase the product.
Base and lid are both rPET, resin identification code 1, allowing the complete pack to remain within a single PET material stream where local collection accepts PET trays.
We offer rPET with 10% to 100% post-consumer recycled content, supported by SCS Recycled Content and Global Recycled Standard certification. Multiple base sizes are available, each with its matching rPET lid. Trays are supplied plain, so branding goes on a peelable label or a sleeve.

Yes. Each tray base has a specific matching lid with its own part number. For example, the SPI-1.5B base pairs with the SPI-1.5F lid, while the ZEN-320B pairs with the ZEN-320F. Bases and lids are ordered separately and lids should be matched to the corresponding tray model.
